Artisan Story

Turkish towels, also called peshtamels or hammam towels, have been woven in Turkey for centuries. This towel is produced by small, family-owned workshops in the Denizli region, where skilled artisans continue the traditional weaving process. The tassels are individually knotted by women working from their homes.
